The PLUS Foundation hosted a fantastic Women’s Leadership Network event in Chicago. Almost 50 guests enjoyed an afternoon of food, drinks, networking, and a keynote address by Kim Lewis, founder and President of CurlMix. Ms. Lewis co-founded CurlMix with her husband and has grown the business into an incredible success in only a few short years, with over $3.5 million in sales of clean beauty products for curly hair. Kim spoke about how to acquire talent the right way: by learning what drives your team, helping them gain skills that matter, and earning their respect and loyalty.
