CONFERENCE CAUSE 2018

San Diego Armed Services YMCA
2018 is the 15th annual Conference Cause. Returning to where our first Conference Cause was held 15 years ago!

$58,859 was donated to the San Diego Armed Services YMCA. PLUS volunteers held an appreciation event for military families.

Sand Diego is home to the nation’s largest concentration of military personnel. For over 100 years Armed Services YMCA of San Diego has been uniquely positioned to improve quality of life and service for San Diego-based active military and their families. They served over 66,000 service members and their families in 2017.

– 9,198 families received bags of healthy, fresh food from the Neighborhood Exchange program.

– 990 military children made new friends with shared experiences at Camp Hero.

– 23,525 patients at the Naval Medical Center San Diego received recreational therapy.

– 831 homemade photo quilts helped to comfort children of a deployed parent.
