PLUS So. California Chapter Conference Cause
Last Thursday, August 22, the Southern California Chapter helped charity Lava Mae by assembling hygiene kits. Members donated various items, such as socks and razors, and volunteers were able to assemble over 200 hygiene kits.
Lava Mae began by converting public transportation buses into showers and toilets on wheels, to deliver hygiene and rekindle dignity for our un-housed neighbors. They also have one-stop Pop-Up Care Villages to dramatically expand access to essential services for people living on the streets.
