The Texas Chapter hosted a lovely Luncheon with colleagues and a keynote address by Elizabeth McCormick, former US. Army Black Hawk Pilot. Ms. McCormick shared the professional and personal development secrets for success with her stories of overcoming overwhelming obstacles as a helicopter pilot. Those in attendance agreed that she does inspire YOU to Soar to a higher level of advancement through influencing others to lead!

As an Army Black Hawk Helicopter Pilot, Elizabeth flew missions such as AirAssault/Rappelling, Command & Control, VIP, and Military intelligence.She also supported UN peacekeeping operations in Kosovo as the S-4 Logistics Officer in Charge at the Battalion level and receiving theMeritorious Service Medal for her excellence in service.
She retired from the military as a Chief Warrant Officer 2, after a career-ending injury. An advocate for women veterans and disabled veterans, Elizabeth serves on the Board of Directors for Grace After Fire. Elizabeth was honored with the 2011 Congressional Veteran Commendation for her commitment to duty and community.
