WLN Luncheon Hosted by Texas Chapter –

Over 60 PLUS guests converged on the Legends Lounge at the Dallas Cowboy’s stadium to socialize with each other, and hear from award winning sports journalists Charean Williams (NBC Sports) and Kristi Scales (Dallas Cowboys Sideline Reporter). Charean and Kristi shared their challenges and ultimate success breaking into the tough world of broadcasting and sports journalism.

With humor and stories from their careers they shared how they became successful in a male dominated career without female mentors or role models. But in the last 30 years the field has changed and they are now role models for a new generation of women and men (in sports reporting and everywhere else!).
